Description

This classic Strawberry Cheesecake is rich, creamy, and topped with a vibrant strawberry glaze. Perfect for any celebration or sweet craving.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into pan base. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, beat until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating on low after each addition.
  5. Mix in sour cream until smooth. Pour batter over crust.
  6. Bake for 55–60 minutes until center is almost set. Turn off oven, let cheesecake sit inside 1 hour.
  7. Remove and cool completely. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Heat strawberry jam until smooth. Toss fresh strawberries in jam and spoon over chilled cheesecake.
  9. Slice and serve chilled

Notes

  • For a firmer crust, chill it for 30 minutes before adding the filling.
  • Use room temperature ingredients for best texture.
  • Fresh strawberries are recommended, but frozen (thawed) can work.
