These sausage balls with cream cheese are soft, savory, and irresistibly cheesy. Perfect for parties, game day, or make-ahead snacks. Just mix, roll, and bake!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, baking mix, cheddar, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Mix thoroughly until well combined (use hands or stand mixer with paddle).
  • Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can freeze the unbaked balls and bake directly from frozen, just add 3–5 extra minutes.
