- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose baking mix (like Bisquick)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, baking mix, cheddar, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Mix thoroughly until well combined (use hands or stand mixer with paddle).
- Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can freeze the unbaked balls and bake directly from frozen, just add 3–5 extra minutes.
- Try spicy sausage or pepper jack cheese for a kick.
