Ingredients
Scale
1 small strip of kombu
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 small umeboshi (pitted)
1.5 cups hot water
Instructions
Soak kombu in hot water for 5–7 minutes
Remove kombu if desired
Mash umeboshi in a small bowl
Add matcha, umeboshi, and ginger to water
Stir vigorously or whisk
Sip warm and enjoy
Notes
Avoid if you have high iodine sensitivity.
Can be adjusted with hojicha or less umeboshi for milder flavor.
