Description
A moist and indulgent cake flavored with Irish cream liqueur or non-alcoholic alternatives. Perfect for holidays or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream (or non-alcoholic substitute)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
reheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt or loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
Mix in sour cream, Baileys, and vanilla until smooth.
Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Frost with Irish cream buttercream or drizzle with glaze.
Notes
Store at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate up to 5.
Use non-alcoholic Irish cream for kid-friendly version.
Best served at room temperature for full flavor.
