- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cream cheese, parsley, and garlic powder.
- Slice a pocket into each chicken breast, careful not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until browned.
- Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 20 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
- Let rest for 5 minutes. Remove toothpicks and serve.
Notes
- You can add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the filling for more flavor.
- Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking the chicken.
