- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Freeze ribeye steak for 30 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and peppers; cook until softened, about 7–10 minutes.
- Push veggies to the side. Add sliced steak to the skillet and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook steak until browned, about 3–5 minutes. Mix with peppers and onions.
- Lay provolone slices over the meat mixture and let melt for 1–2 minutes.
- Split hoagie rolls, toast if desired, and fill each with the steak mixture.
- Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
